On Saturday, 17 February 2024, we joined hands with incredible partners — Impilo, SADAG, Safercity, BCPF, SAPS, and Memeza — at the Elandsfontein Victim Empowerment launch hosted at Sizwe Secondary School.
The day was an incredible success, not only because of the energy in the room but also because of the shared commitment to healing, awareness, and safety.
The Elandsfontein community faces very real challenges. Listening to these stories was humbling. But just as powerful was witnessing how many people, organisations, and leaders are standing together to create change.
Events like this remind us that true empowerment is never a solo journey — it’s collective. When communities unite, transformation is not just possible, it becomes inevitable.
